Friends Fur-ever

Can I tell you how much I *love* the new Teahouse background? We made this card at my sister's workshop. I love that the doggie looks like it is inspecting the picture. And I also love that the ladies at the workshop chose to put different things in the frame. :-)

I have some important news, for me at least. ;) I am finally up-to date on the Sketch Challenges at Splitcoast! It has been a lot of months since I have been able to say that, so I am very happy about it. Needless to say I am not current on publishing them, but that means as of now I will have new posts through the end of October. :-) This should make Laura happy since she won't be looking at the same post- unless she wants too.

So I won't keep you waiting, here is the sketch:

SC289-Cupcake

Here is the sketch:And here is my card:
Don't you just *Love* the new colors?!? The Daffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler are two of my new favorites! And I am so excited Pacific Point was brought back. I have a confession: When the year was over for Pacific Point I ordered 8 more packs of it- so I am especially grateful they brought it back! :-)

I sponged the pacific point panel and in real life it helps the dry embossing from the eyelet texture plate just pop! I used my blender pen and the Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point ink pads to color the cupcake.

I hope you like it!- Thanks for stopping by!

SU Materials Used: Stamps: Crazy for Cupcakes;
Paper: Pacific Point, Pacific Point DP, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Watercolor Paper;
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Pacific Point, Basic Gray;
