SC 270

Here is the Sketch Challenge from March 2nd: And here is the card I made:
My friend, April, celebrated her birthday last week, so of course I had to make her a card. She knows of my *slight* obsession with the Beary Best Friends set and thought for sure she would get a bear card. Well, I knew that she is not as obsessed as I am, and since she just adopted her 3rd Greyhound, I *knew* she needed a dog card. :) I sponged the ground on the dog panel, to give the pup something to walk on.
And this is the stamped part of the insert. I used the ticket punch and sponged the edge with Basic Brown.

Materials: SU Stamps: D is for Dog, Sweet Birthday; SU Paper: Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip DP; SU Ink: Basic Brown

So here is the sketch from February 16th: (maybe someday I will post them the week I make them. ;) )And my card:
I love the So Saffron and Always Artichoke together! I used Certainly Celery DP for her dress and bag and Creamy Caramel & Shirt and Chocolate Chip for his shorts. I won't bore you with the details since (if you have seen my blog before) you already know of my obsession for the Beary Best Friends set. :)
Although I will share the inside with you. Believe it or not I actually made a bow! yeah me. :)

SC268

Yeah- two posts in one week! :)

So here is the Sketch:
And here is my card:
I am mostly please with the way this turned out. The only thing that bugs me is I should have used watercolor paper for the map wheel. I used the top of the ink pads and blender pen to get the watercolored look, but the Pacific Point is just too streaky. Oh well, live and learn. I do think the pirate scarf hat is awesome cut out and taped on....so what do you think? Please feel free to leave comments- Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who looks at this! :)

Materials: SU Stamps: Pirate Time, SA Matey Map; SU Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Gray, Basic Black; SU Ink: Basic Gray, Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel: SU Accessories: Blender pen

So it seems like I have fallen off the Blogging Bandwagon, yet again. How has it been three weeks already? Let me apologize yet again and promise that is *will* happen again, but hopefully not for awhile. ;)

So here is the Sketch:

And this is what it inspired me to make:
How is that for a manly Valentines Card? I think it was perfect because I really do think that Clay is sweet and cute and he is definitely Loved! He is still the man of my dreams. :)
I am not sure if you can tell in the picture, but I doodled around the edges of the curly label red layer and I think it just added the perfect little touch. I will keep this short as the school bus should be here any minute!

Materials: SU Stamps: So Very; SU Paper: Basic Black, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Real Red; SU Ink: Riding Hood Red; SU Accessories: Curly Label Punch, Circle Punches
