Sketch Challenge 240

Here is the Sketch Challenge:

And here is my card:

I *LOVE* the bear panel! -I know you probably figured that out without me saying it. ;) However, in hindsight, I wish I would have panel 2 just the Ballet Blue. I think the circle would have looked better that way.

Materials Used: SU Stamps: Beary Best Friends; SU Paper: Whisper White, Ballet Blue, Barely Banana, DSPaper; SU Ink: Creamy Caramel, Ballet Blue, Barely Banana; Other: SU Circle Scissor Plus & Glass Mat

Sketch Challenge 231

Birthday Sketch:

Birthday Card:

My nephew celebrated his birthday last month. To help him celebrate, I made him this card. It was very simple, lets face it- eight year old little boys are not that into all the pretties and sparklies!

I used an Happy Birthday embossing folder and then cut it into three stripes. I layered the Tempting Turquoise onto Brilliant Blue panels and mounted the panels on a Tempting Turquoise base. I stamped cupcake stamp from Cause for Celebration on Whisper White Cardstock. I then pieced the Brilliant Blue wrapper and decorated the frosting with glitter pen 'sprinkles'. I layered the cupcake on Tempting Turquoise and Brilliant Blue and mounted it with pop dots.

Materials Used: SU Stramps: Cause for Celebration; SU Paper: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Brilliant Blue; SU Ink: Basic Gray; Other SU: Dimensionals

Sketch Challenge 239

The challenges continue. ;)

Here is my interpretation:
I know I have mentioned this before, but I *love* the Beary Best Friends set.
This was a quick card I designed for a kids stamp camp. Unfortunately, I ended up cancelling the class, but I still think this is cute! On second thought, maybe it was for the best because they probably wouldn't like the piecing part!

Materials Used: SU Stamps: Beary Best Friends; SU Paper: Garden Green, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, DSP More Mustard & Wild Wasabi; SU Ink: Basic Brown, Certainly Celery, Creamy Caramel, Cameo Coral

Beary Birthday Cards.

So I am still plugging away at the sketch Challenges over at Splitcoaststampers.
So without further ado, here is the challenge:

And here is my interpretation:

Two of Seth's friends recently turned 4, so I decided to make them the same cards. I am in love with this Beary Best Friends set! I think that the clothes look great paper pieced! When you are a girl turning 4 what could be better than a pink card with a teddy bear. Oh, I know, putting a die cut Stampin’ Up! Bear & Beary Essentials (clothes) inside the card. They both seemed to really like it!

Materials Used: SU Stamps: Beary Best Friends; SU Paper: Pixie Pink Textured, Pink Passion, Whisper White, DSP Pretty in Pink; SU Ink: Basic Brown, Pixie Pink, Creamy Caramel, Barely Banana; SU Bigz Dies: Stampin’ Up! Bear, Stampin’ Up! Beary Essentials
