Since my family is *such* a train family I knew I needed this train set when the mini-catalog came out! I used it for a workshop an Saturday and this is the card we did:

This Forest Friends Set just screams 'Bambi' to me! Anyone else getting the Bambi vibe?

Waaaaay overdue Thanks!
Let me start by Saying:
Thank You Joyclynn!!!
So Spring break was about 2 weeks ago and the kids and I went to Chicago to see my family. Well, while I was gone I got a package in the mail. Unfortunately I didn't find out about it until about a week after I got home!
This is what was waiting for me:
Just Beachy
Yippee! I got another sketch challenge completed. I was hoping to do one a week since that is how often they are released, but I seem to be a *little* behind!

Ok, so is this not the funniest summer set? I love the old woody and the fish (tone on tone on the pacific point) are so adorable!

Just for you
I stamped the flower from Polka Dot Punches in Pixie Pink on the card base. Then
I paper pieced the monkey with the designer series paper. The cupcake was cut out of Whisper White and I placed the pixie pink wrapper on it. I also used the word window punch on the sentiment and then just free cut the outer layer. You can't see it very well, but I paper pierced the Elegant Eggplant layer. I really like how it turned out, not my greatest, but it is fun.

Everyone Else was doing it so...
I had to too! Awhile back a friend posted this link and I bookmarked it thinking 'someday'. Well, a bunch of friends made their versions and I just couldn't resist making my own.
I used Wilton Gel food coloring and used applesause instead of oil,
but I just couldn't bring myself to use pop.
Here is the mix, in hindsight I would have put more of the purple/white batter in the bottom of the pan. You know what they say about hindsight!
