Teacher Gifts

A few weeks back my friend, NoJo, Found this on Pinterest and shared it with a few of my friends. I thought, what an excellent idea! And it just so happens that Magdalena's Teacher has a C last name. Awesome! It took me a little while to find the right font, but what an awesome teacher gift. And our school has a little above door window that she could easily use it in.

On to Mrs. Klock, Ethan's teacher. Well, I am not sure why, but the letter K was giving me fits. It may just have been that it was 11pm, but I could not get the crayons to cooperate. :( So I came up with this:

I knew it wasn't that good, but I had to see how bad it really was so I showed this picture to the same 'Mom Squad' friends and in seconds it was nay-d by several people- Which is good, cause frankly, I wasn't feeling it either.

To show how good these friends are, Sarah found this on Pinterest after I went to bed and linked it for me. Yay, now that I could do! So here is what Mrs. Klock will actually be getting:

You will notice Mrs. Klock is getting her name layered on the black. Well, I am nothing if not cheep, so I peeled the glue sticks off the card stock and proceeded to tack the crayons down. Well, when I was done with that I decided that the crayons next to the name weren't working for me, so I peeled them up, but ripped the paper a tiny bit. Well, I wasn't redoing the K, so the layered name was born...and I like it better. Good thing Mrs. Carter's is wrapped or I'd be peeling her stars up to add the layer to her name!

I am taking the chance that neither teacher reads my blog and am posting this before I give it to them. Let's face it I am 99.999% sure neither of them know I even have a blog. ;-)

Helpful hints if you are thinking about trying this:

Buy extra Crayon Boxes in August when they are only $.25 for the good Crayola- let's face it I am a Crayon snob and don't think it would look as nice with the Roseart ones.
Shop for the frame when it is on sale!!!
I cut the crayons with an exacto knife on a self healing mat. I basically scored around the outside and snapped it like a green been. The ones on Mrs. Carter's are all 1" long. Mrs. Klock's are two sizes. The straight and diagonal lines are 1" but, the diagonal lines appear longer since they are the flat ends. The mid-k blue one is 2 1/4".

Ok, in case you haven't noticed I am in a pink phase right now. I will try and keep it to a minimum from her out. ;) I like the texture of panels 1 & 3, i think it gives it great dimension. Spring just seems to be the season of butterflies for me, hope you don't find it too repetitive.

I just love those partying dinos! They look like they are having so much fun. :^)

It was a really easy card to make. The colors were inspired by U of I, gotta love the orange and blue together! I fussy cut the banner because it just looked better than a silly old box.

I had to add the air blower to the inside. Isn't it just perfect for a little boy?

I made these cards for a birthday card Swap at SCS.

Men are really hard to make cards for sometimes, but who wouldn't want a yummy cupcake?

I basically remade my card from Sketch Challenge 320 and added some Rhinestones to the cupcake panel. It took me forever to figure out what embellishment to add because I loved it without embellishments. :)

So my little boy, Ethan, has a Birthday Buddy, Anna. So of course, I had to make her a card for her special day. I love Button Bear! I used the Rose Red Stampin Write Marker to outline Button Bears paw prints and stitching. It helps it pop in real life.

Okay, I am loving the Ice Cream Parlor buttons and ribbon! I used the Posy Party Wheel with Daffodil Delight ink to make the background on panel 2. I really need to dust off my wheels more often. The Stampin' Around Wheel Guide works really well! And if you have an all around design, I love rolling it on 45 degree angle- the lines are not as noticeable that way. :-) I used my Stampin' Write markers to ink up the Simple Birthday Stamp, I like it multi-colored. ;)

For the inside I stamped the Birthday wish stamp in Melon Mambo and used the so Saffron for the flower from the So Happy For you Set. All in all the materials for this card are something to Sale-A-Brate!

On the inside I stamped the starfish and the Birthday Wish stamp. Even though the inside was white, I still chose to put the panel in...I think it makes it look much more professional this way. :-)

I made this card for Ethan. He is turning 7 the beginning of March and still loves his Triceratops, so of course I had to use this for his card. I used the square lattice embossing folder for panel 2 and sponged it with Rich Razzleberry. The front is all inked in Rich Razzleberry and the panels are edged by Elegant Eggplant panels. As usual, it looks better in person. Someday I will learn to take better pictures!

All I could think of when I saw this sketch was my 'Little Boys' stamp set. Don't they look like they are on a grand adventure? I used my Whimsy Wheel with Garden Green on the Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green panels. I like the way the boys turned out- I am getting more comfortable coloring with my markers. For the longest time I just used them to ink the stamps, but I may be getting the hang of coloring (about time I know!).

The Evolution of a Card Design

So my sister sent us this for our Christmas Card this year. I immediately knew I would have to case it!!! Isn't it sweet. I love that the whole card is less than 1 sheet of paper and the fact that the snowman panel is the one removed from the card front!

I had a Stampin' Up! workshop yesterday in honor of Sale-A-Bration. Of course, I thought I could do variations of this to show off the Sale-A-Bration Sets. Since I didn't pre-order any sets, (seriously why would I pay for them when I will get them free this week?!? I never understood that), I decided to use what sets I had from the back of the book. I LOVE that they now incorporate sets that are in the yearly catalog for Sale-A-Bration!!! Having already purchased 8 of those sets, I knew I could make it work. The sets I didn't use I had out to show.

Up First, Simple Snowflake:

If you know me at all you know I love snow, snowflakes and snowmen- as long as I am not the one out in the cold! So, consequently I have had this stamp for awhile- in fact I used it for my 2009 Christmas cards. For both cards I stamped the simple snowflake in Night of Navy. For the card on the Left I used the snowflake punch on acetate to create a stencil. I used a sponge with Bashful Blue to pop the Snowflake. For the card on the white I stamped the Simple Snowflake on Bashful blue, punched it out with the snowflake punch and glued that down. I am partial to the card on the left.

Ok, this was just one I threw in because I liked the sponged snowflake and Valentines day is coming up. ;-)

I used the heart punch on acetate-and sponged the template. After I finished sponging it I used my marker to outline the Heart. I really like the simple look of this one. As much as I like the sponged dots on the snowflake card- On this card I like the white better!

Paper: Cherry Cobbler (one of my new favorites!), Whisper White

Other: Heart Punch, Perfect Polka Dots, sponge, brads, White 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon

And last but not least- the Take home card, featuring Hello Again:

I must admit, Clay was right. Usually when I ask him an opinion- like does he like the dark color on the outside of the flower or inside, I usually go with the opposite of what he says. This time he was right, the flower on the right looks better. I do however like the smaller size of the flower panel and 1/16" border on the left card- guess I should have asked him about that too. ;) The flower and butterfly we inked with my Stampin' Write Markers- what a great way to make them really pop! I also used the flower from Itty Bitty Bits, because I am LOVING the clear mount stamps. In my opinion, the stamp the same as the wood mount and I am all for the smaller storage space! I recommend getting the clear stamps if you can afford the block investment!

I had so much fun doing the Sketch Challenge last year, that I decided to do it all again this year. You know what that means- at least 52 more cards for you to see this year. I hope you like seeing them as much as I like making them!

One last thing, don't expect them on time...case in point- I made this card 3 weeks ago and forgot to post it until now! :( Oh well, at least I finally remembered!

For the first time ever I also tried my had at a color challenge! This is also CC 304- Red, White, and Silver or Gray. I used Riding Hood Red for the card base, Truck and panel 4's frame. I used the Basic Gray DP for panel 2 and 3 and outlined it with Basic Gray Cardstock. I like the dimension that the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder added to Layer 1! I hope that the flowers on panel 2 don't make it look too girly as I made it for my brother-in-laws birthday!

Well, if you have read my blog at all this year you may have noticed I was doing the SplitCoastStampers Sketch Challenges A LOT...well that is because it was a New Years Resolution for 2010 to complete all the Sketch Challenges. At times I was several behind, but I managed to pull it off. On the morning of the 31st I finished the last 2 card sketches. I think I will try to do it again this year...it was challenging and fun as well. ;-)

I love the bear popping out of the rectangle, I am definitely going to do this again. ;-) I do like the cute little line of cupcakes and the paper pieced bowtie. For some reason I think it needs something else, but I can't decide what. Any suggestions? Maybe if I had another panel or used a colored card base. Hum. Well, here is hoping Spicy likes it anyway.

Sorry the picture quality is so poor...Really it looks much better in person, I promise! The card base is Chocolate Chip- I know it looks purple, but trust me it is Chocolate Chip- and the Perfect Polka Dot embossed layer is Very Vanilla. The cake is colored with Pretty in Pink and Pink Pirouette, the cake plate is Rose Red. I used a Gelly roll glitter pen on the icing, candle flame and cake plate. Okay, I just can't get over how bad this picture is so I am going to make this short.

I made this card for my friend Heather's birthday. I love the look of the flowers in the jar. I fussy cut out 3 flowers and I think it looks really good in real life. The Panel 3 is using the current Hostess Designer Paper Pad. I am really liking the new patterns! I used the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder on the base layer and I think that just makes it pop.

I *LOVE* the way this card turned out.

As you may know, I am a big fan of Snowmen-especially if I am not the one

out in the cold making them. ;) I think the outlining helps the guys to pop!

I used the Petals-A-Plenty on Cherry Cobbler paper for the blue panel and some Certainly Celery DP I had in my stash for the red panel. I used the Wild Wasabi to border all the panels and I think it is just a subtle little something that brings it all together.

So, my baby sister *finally* turned 29 last week. Since she is such a purple fanatic, I made her this card. I used the Concord Grape DP for layer 3. I love the new patterns on the designer paper block... and best of all it is a level 1 hostess gift!!! I used the Elegant Eggplant to frame the Concord Grape DP and Lovely Lilac Layer. I dusted off the Heartfelt Thanks flower and used the markers and used it on one layer of the flower. I used the Basic Brown for the outline layer.

Two of my friends we lucky enough to celebrate birthdays this week. So I made them the same pretty little card. I used my markers to color in the flowers from the Close as a Memory set. I stamped the happy birthday in Rose Red and the flower from the 'Think Happy Thoughts' in Pink Pirouette. Finally, I added a rhinestone from my new package of Basic Rhinestone Jewel accents- can I just say I am in love with them. :-)

My friend, Heather and I volunteered at Camp Tag-A-Long (Girl Scout Day camp) again this year. For the first time we were unit leaders- basically we got a group of 20 soon to be 2nd graders and went around to different centers. We were assigned 2 aides to help us out in our Unit. Since the theme was 'Where the Wild Things Are!' we were the Gray Elephant unit. I wanted to send a Thanks you note to one of our aides, Roadrunner, because she was a great aid! She helped us over the summer get ready for camp and she was super patient with the girls- and helped them out with their gimp. ;) I wanted to be sure and send her a Thank You card and as usual, I was late in getting it to her. Camp was the end of August and I didn't get this made until mid-September, but hopefully she will know how much we appreciated her help at camp.

Don't you just *Love* the new colors?!? The Daffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler are two of my new favorites! And I am so excited Pacific Point was brought back. I have a confession: When the year was over for Pacific Point I ordered 8 more packs of it- so I am especially grateful they brought it back! :-)

I sponged the pacific point panel and in real life it helps the dry embossing from the eyelet texture plate just pop! I used my blender pen and the Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point ink pads to color the cupcake.

My Story...

So for those of you who don't already know, here is my Stampin' Up! Story. ;)

I fell in love with stamps at a very young age when my Grannie bought me a heart, a star and a Santa Claus stamp. I Loved them! Well, in 1998, my Mom was invited to a Stampin' Up! Workshop and I *loved* it. Unfortunately, the demo was several states away so I purchased a few sets and they sadly sat in my closet.

Fast forward a couple of years. The dust bunnies were collecting on my stamps and out of the blue my friend, Heather, invited me to a workshop. I was amazed by the Stampin' Scrub! and was once again sucked into the SU world. Heather quickly became a Demo, so I got my stamp 'fix' through her. I would hold a workshop during Sale-A-Bration and one once the retired list was released and that worked well for a few years.

Well, in 2006 my family moved across country and I was without a Demo nearby. My sister's friend talked me into becoming my own demo and the rest is history. I love having friends over to stamp with and of course, the discount I get on my Stampin' Stuff. ;)

Well, hopefully my story hasn't bored you too much. Look at it this way, at least it keeps me out of trouble. ;)

Bus Driver Card

So rewind to about a month ago and I was deep in the end of year card making craziness. I have no idea who came up with the brilliant idea of modifying the loads of love truck into a school bus, but my sister (the school bus driver oddly enough) was the one who showed it to me.

Seriously isn't it the cutest?

I even wrote our school name on the side. I paper pieced the windows and tires ( I just think it looks better that way and I am sure I saw it on someones blog/gallery but I have no idea where since it has been awhile.)

Fortunately, I do remember where the idea of the gift card pocket came from. Roxy showed it as a stand alone card on her blog, found here. I adapted it to sit inside a standard invitation sized card. We collected at the bus stop and put in a Panera Card. I hope she enjoyed it.

I am lucky enough to share my Birthday with one of my Brownies. She is also in Magdalena's class, so when I visited during lunch I made sure to give her a special birthday card. She loves Dogs as much as my kids, so I *knew* I needed to make her a doggie card. I have been looking at Magdalena's card for over a year now and this was the perfect time to use it as an example. I changed out the Night of Navy for the Elegant Eggplant and kept the rest pretty much the same.

And remember there are no mistakes in stamping...just opportunities. After stamping the cake, it didn't look right, so I re-stamped it on some Creamy Caramel and it looks much better!

Girl Scout Thank You Part 1

For those of you who don't know, I am a Girl Scout leader and service unit Registrar (fancy way of saying I do paperwork. ;) ) Anyway, my troop bridged from Brownies to Juniors last week and to mark the occasion the girls made invites for their friends and family. My friend April (Hi April) has the SU Girl Scout set from long ago, and was kind enough to let us borrow it. Well, Long story -well Long at this point, She asked me to make a few GS themed cards for our Field Director since I still had the set. Well, my good friend, Cindy, posted a card box she made and was nice enough to show me how. So my Field Director, Emily got this wonderful box of cards as a Thank You from our Service Unit. I hope she likes them 1/2 as much as I do!

Here is the box. I used 1 sheet of 12 x 12 Girl Scout paper for the project.

I had an extra tree panel after making Ethan's card (his needed the trees closer to the top) so I decided to use them to make a birthday card for his friend. Unfortunately the Bravo Burgundy (base paper and T-Rex & panel) did not photograph well. I took about 40 pictures and these were the best ones.

In case you haven't been following along... I was in card making mode the day before Mother's day I decided to make each of the kids a card. Inside I wrote some of the things I love about them and are proud of them for. I think they really liked it, so hopefully it is a tradition I will continue for them.

Seth *LOVES*red, so of course I had to make him a red card. It is very simple, but hey he is three and it's cute! (That's my story and I am sticking to it!)

I am mostly hoping that the cards for my kids inspire someone else to let their children know how important they are and what you love about them. Sometimes I think we get caught up in trying to change them for the better and forget about the great things they already do!

Magdalena's Mother's Day Card (SC278)

In case you haven't been following along... I was in card making mode the day before Mother's day and I decided to make each of the kids a card. Inside I wrote some of the things I love about them and are proud of them for. I think they really liked it, so hopefully it is a tradition I will continue for them.

Magdalena's favorite color is orange, so after I pulled out the pink, I put it back and got out the Only Orange for her. (In fact I told her that color was retiring and I am now ordering some extra for Maggie-only cards. ;) ) I used the Color Spritzer Tool for layer one, it just made it a little more interesting. I then made the two panels with the flower from Cause for Celebration and the butterfly (from the same set) for panel three. I love the Only Orange here because it just looks so cheery!!!

A few years ago my Mom bought Ethan a maroon triceratops from Kohl's. Ever since it has been a staple in our lives. I love how he carries it around (Still- I know, probably not for much longer since he is almost done with K) Well, I had to reflect that in his card. Luckily, the Dino-Mite set had the perfect little guy to use. :) I dusted off the Color Spritzer Tool and added some splotches to panel 3. (I originally made it with just the Bravo Burgundy layer there, but it *needed* something else. ;) )

My nephew, Jake turned 11 on Monday. I am hoping by now he has actually gotten the card I sent him!

Jake loves Dogs, so I knew he needed a Dog Card! I used some scrap dog bone paper (no idea where it cam from) for the bottom panels. I think it goes nicely with the Creamy Caramel paper. I have recently become addicted to sponging the sides of the paper as you can see on the Dog Panel. I also *swoop* the sides in the ink panel as an alternative if you don't have any sponges handy. I thought this was a fun and quick sketch! :)

Here is hoping everyone had a better Mother's Day then I did. Everyone in my family was sick...Not fun catching your kids' puke in your hand at 8am!!! Although, I think my sister had a worse one-for her first Mother's Day she is getting her gall bladder removed. Funny enough when Maggie was the same age as her daughter I got mine out as well. *Insert eye roll here* So I am calling for a do-over day for my sister & me. :)

I did get to stamp all day on Saturday, so it was a completely wasted weekend for me.

Here is the Sketch I used for the Teacher Appreciation Cards:This is Mrs. Rohler's Card:

Mrs. Rohler had Sunflowers as her Favorite Flower and Green as her Favorite Color. I used the top Note die for the second layer. I didn't use the third layer as it didn't look right when I tried. I used the Wimsey Wheel with Versamark for the background and the Thank You from Much Appreciated. The Sunflower I dusted off from the Button Bear stamp set.

This is Mrs. Carter's Card:

Mrs. Carter had Lillies as her Favorite Flower and Purple as her Favorite Color. I used the top Note die for the second layer with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder. Again I used the Whimsey Wheel with Versamark for the background and the Thank You from Much Appreciated. Since I did not have a good lily stamp to use I used this cute little flower from Hello Again and made it purple for her.

And the Red Apple Cards are for the boys Teachers: Mrs. D, Mrs. Parcelli, Mrs. Atari & Mrs. Reeve. Unfortunately I forgot to get a single picture of the Apple Cards. :( But I think they turned out very cute...if I do say so myself.

Sorry the photo's aren't the best. I was under a deadline and by the time I had them finished the light was bad.

I really like the look of the tone on tone Cameo Coral and Apricot Appeal. It is such an easy way to add another dimension to your cards. :) I sponged the Cameo Coral over the Very Vanilla butterfly. It really helped pop the dry embossing from the Perfect Details Plate and is another way to quickly add another dimension!

My friend, April, celebrated her birthday last week, so of course I had to make her a card. She knows of my *slight* obsession with the Beary Best Friends set and thought for sure she would get a bear card. Well, I knew that she is not as obsessed as I am, and since she just adopted her 3rd Greyhound, I *knew* she needed a dog card. :) I sponged the ground on the dog panel, to give the pup something to walk on.
And this is the stamped part of the insert. I used the ticket punch and sponged the edge with Basic Brown.

I am mostly please with the way this turned out. The only thing that bugs me is I should have used watercolor paper for the map wheel. I used the top of the ink pads and blender pen to get the watercolored look, but the Pacific Point is just too streaky. Oh well, live and learn. I do think the pirate scarf hat is awesome cut out and taped on....so what do you think? Please feel free to leave comments- Sometimes I feel like I am the only one who looks at this! :)

So it seems like I have fallen off the Blogging Bandwagon, yet again. How has it been three weeks already? Let me apologize yet again and promise that is *will* happen again, but hopefully not for awhile. ;)

How is that for a manly Valentines Card? I think it was perfect because I really do think that Clay is sweet and cute and he is definitely Loved! He is still the man of my dreams. :)
I am not sure if you can tell in the picture, but I doodled around the edges of the curly label red layer and I think it just added the perfect little touch. I will keep this short as the school bus should be here any minute!

Ethan's Birthday Card

Ethan turned six the beginning of this month. He actually went in my paper stash and got out the brilliant blue and told me to make his card with that color. My how the grow up. ;)

So I couldn't disappoint the boy... although I did get it done on his birthday while he was at school. :) I used my *favorite* birthday stamp- Crazy for Cupcakes...I mean who doesn't like Cupcakes?!?!? I paper pieced the wrapper and candle and even sent the wrapper through my Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (are you guessing how much I love that folder yet?). I used the Cupcakes wheel and my Brilliant Blue ink pad for the horizontal layer, added the black layers and viola- Happy Birthday to Ethan.

I think the dots add to the wrapper- What do you think?

A New Little Someone...

My Friend is expecting a new little boy in a few short weeks. Her shower was on Saturday, so I thought I'd share the card I made for it.

Isn't is the cutest? Ok, maybe not *the* cutest, but I think it is pretty darn cute. ;) She is going with blue and brown as the color, and I *love* that combo for a boy. I used it for my card as well. I cut the blue and brown stripe using my Big Shot and the Perfect Setting Bigz XL die. To give the blue a border I simply cut the Chocolate Chip on in half and mounted to the Blashful Blue layer (after I ran the Bashful Blue layer through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder! ). I used tone on tone for the rattle and safety pin card front. The cute little bunny I colored with my Creamy Caramel & Blashful Blue Stampin' Write marker and paper pieced his feet bottoms and bow.

I also used tone on tone for the inside, but it looked better in real life. ;)

I really hope you are not sick of the Beary Best Friends set yet! I used the Perfect Polka Dots on the bottom half of the card front. The ribbon helps the transition. ;) I used the Petals-A-Plenty on Panel 2 and then sponged on the Rich Razzleberry to help them pop. Rich Razzleberry is my favorite 'In Color' this year. It think it looks really nice with the Certainly Celery.

This is the sketch from January 27th.

And here is what I did with it:

I made this for my sister and brother-in-laws 15th Anniversary. (Happy Anniversary again Laura & Rich). I am not sure how I feel about this card. Looking back I went a *little* heart crazy. I used the paper from the Sale-a-Bration Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper Pad. Remember the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder I was talking about? Well, I used that on the card front. I used the new Small Heart Punch form the current Occasions Mini Catalog and punched the pink heart out. (And let me tell you that is a great punch. If you haven't had a chance to check out the new punch design-take the time. ;) ) I layered it on the DSP and punched it with the 3/4" punch and then layered it with pink (I can't remember what pink i used...I think Pretty in Pink) 1" circle.

This was the Sketch Challenge from the week of January 19th:

And here is what I did with it. ;)

As you can see, my obsession with paper piecing the Beary Best Friends set is still alive and well. For this card I used the SU Petals-A-Plenty Sizzix embossing folder on the card front. I *love* the SU folders because they actually cover the entire card front! (the Perfect PolkaDots one is my absolute favorite!!!) I used Real Red on the back panels and her dress and Not Quite Navy on the horizontal panel. I used my Stampin' Write Markers to color the bear fur and her shoes and paper pieced the rest.

This sketch was posted on January 12th.

Version 1:

I tried this one first. I thought the Upsy Daisy Set would be perfect for this card the minute I saw the sketch. I inked the image with my Stampin' Write Markers. Unfortunately, but the time I had it cut out, it was a tad bit bigger than I was expecting. So I changed my ribbon to the 3/8" Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon and added the Thanks from the Thank You Kindly set. I ran the Creamy Caramel layer through my Big Shot with the Stampin' Up! Perfect Details Pattern I Texturz Plates and I think it gave it just the right amount of pizzaz. ;)

Well, This was not what I had in mind when I first saw the sketch so I decided to give it another try..

And Version 2 was created:

I swapped out the flowers with the ones from Close as a Memory, switched the Thank you stamp and the 15/16" Satin Ribbon and Viola:

So it seems like I am either up to date here and not making anything or I am stampin like crazy and not posting anything. ;) I am going to try and keep up here-at least weekly- and still stamp & scrap up a storm.

So in preparation for the Holidays, I had a couple of card classes for kids. My daughter loves to make cards so I thought it only right to offer her friends a chance to do the same.

This was on of the cards we made at the class. I *love* the Holiday Lineup set, isn't it cute. We stamped the Sanded background stamp on the Ruby Red card base with Ruby Red Ink. The girls *loved* paper piercing the Glorious Green panel. My favorite part was water coloring the nose on Rudolph. ;)

My nephew celebrated his birthday last month. To help him celebrate, I made him this card. It was very simple, lets face it- eight year old little boys are not that into all the pretties and sparklies!

I used an Happy Birthday embossing folder and then cut it into three stripes. I layered the Tempting Turquoise onto Brilliant Blue panels and mounted the panels on a Tempting Turquoise base. I stamped cupcake stamp from Cause for Celebration on Whisper White Cardstock. I then pieced the Brilliant Blue wrapper and decorated the frosting with glitter pen 'sprinkles'. I layered the cupcake on Tempting Turquoise and Brilliant Blue and mounted it with pop dots.

I know I have mentioned this before, but I *love* the Beary Best Friends set.

This was a quick card I designed for a kids stamp camp. Unfortunately, I ended up cancelling the class, but I still think this is cute! On second thought, maybe it was for the best because they probably wouldn't like the piecing part!

Two of Seth's friends recently turned 4, so I decided to make them the same cards. I am in love with this Beary Best Friends set! I think that the clothes look great paper pieced! When you are a girl turning 4 what could be better than a pink card with a teddy bear. Oh, I know, putting a die cut Stampin’ Up! Bear & Beary Essentials (clothes) inside the card. They both seemed to really like it!
